Yellow Mountain - 5 days
Considered to be the most beautiful mountain in China, Yellow Mountain or Huangshan is one of a range of 72 peaks in Anhui Province. Set amidst rural landscapes and with it’s slopes clad in pine, the ethereal scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. Some 9,000 steps have been carved into the mountain, for those that want to walk up the most stunning stairwell on Earth, though our bolt-on includes a return cable-car journey to the Yellow Mountain scenic area, where your hotel is located.
Day 1 –Overnight train to Huangshan City. Today take the train the overnight sleeper train to Huangshan. Overnight –Sleeper Train
Day 2 –Yellow Mountain
After a morning arrival into Huangshan City you are transferred to the Yellow Mountain Scenic Area and board the cable car to the mountain. Enjoy spectacular views of the peaks including Shixin Peak, Lion Peak, Refreshing Terrace and Monkey gazing at the Sea Peak. You spend the night in Xihai on the mountain. Overnight - Xihai
Day 3 – Yellow Mountain
We spend the whole day in the mountains touring and admiring the Clouds Dispelling Pavilion, Xihai Grand Canyon, Flying Top and Bright Top Peak. Overnight –Xihai
Day 4 – Huangshan and back to Shanghai
This morning you take the cable car back down the mountain and visit an old street of the Song Dynasty before taking an overnight train back to Shanghai Overnight – Sleeper Train
Day 5 – Arrive back into Shanghai. The train arrives back into Shanghai and arrangements end.

- For the purpose of quotations, all prices featured are based on 2 passengers travelling, and surcharges apply for one passenger travelling. This is on top of the usual single supplement. Please also note that supplements may apply over the Christmas/New Year period.
- No bolt-ons operate over May Day (01-07 May)or National Day (01 - 07 Oct) holidays in China due to overwhelming domestic tourist demand for local hotels and services.
