Day 1: Beijing
Huan ying, welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Airport arrival transfer and hotel check in.
Day 2: Beijing - Xi'an
This morning, we visit the Temple of Heaven. Afterwoods rickshaw ride through the Hutongs of Beijing and visit the Silk Alley for some shopping before boarding our overnight sleeper train (4 berth soft sleeper cabins) to Xi'an. Overnight - Qianmen Jianguo
Day 3: Xi'an
Arrive Xi’an and hotel check in. Later we tour the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site where some 7,000 warriors stand in battle ready position and a factory demonstrating how the warriors are crafted. Tonight, enjoy a Tang Dynasty performance including dinner. Overnight - Train - 4 berth soft sleeper cabin
Day 4: Xi'an
Early morning excursion to see Pandas at the Shaanxi Rare Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Centre. After we visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and then onto the medieval City Wall and Muslim Markets in the Muslim Quarter. Overnight - Wan Nian Grand Hotel
Day 5: Xi'an - Yangtze & Three Gorges
Spend the morning at leisure before flying to Chongqing, the start point for our exciting Yangtze River cruise. Boarding cruise after dinner. Overnight - Wan Nian Grand Hotel
Day 8: Yangtze & Three Gorges - Shanghai
After a morning shore excursion to visit the Three Gorges Dam we disembark from our cruise. You are met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Overnight - Superior
