Visas are required by all visitors to Egypt. Contrary to popular belief, the Embassy of Egypt advises all travellers to procure their visa prior to entry into Egypt. It still remains possible for nationals of some countries to procure their tourist visa upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. Please note that in the event of visa refusal at port of entry, on the go cannot be held responsible.

Note: all RSA passport holders must procure their Egyptian visa before departure.

Jordan

Visas are required by all visitors to Jordan. Visas for UK, EU, AUS, NZ, CAN and USA passport holders are issued at Aqaba Seaport (our group tour point of entry from Egypt) free of charge. If entering via Amman International Airport, the cost is currently 20JD (USD$30 or Euro 30) for single entry.

It is no longer possible to get a multiple entry visa for Jordan. If planning to leave for Syria, Egypt or Israel and reenter you will need to purchase a second visa, which will be easily obtainable at the border. If arriving to Jordan via Aqaba Seaport (the port of entry if arriving from Egypt) a visa is issued free of charge.

On departure (via land or sea), a 5JD departure tax of is applied to all visitors.
