Day 1: Amman

Welcome to Jordan and the start of your holiday. Our representative will be at the airport to meet you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day and evening are at your leisure.

Day 2: Amman - Petra

After an early breakfast, we travel to Petra via the Desert Highway. Access to the city on our guided exploration is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the fantastically impressive Treasury. Walking down the gravel tracks, we’ll explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates, public buildings and more the intrepid can ascend to Ad Deir better known as the monestery. Day 3: Petra - Dead Sea

Another early start today, we head south to Wadi Rum to enjoy a 1.5 hour 4x4 Bedouin Desert Safari before heading north to the Dead Sea. En route we will visit the ruins of Um Al Rassas. Overnight - Beit Zaman

Day 4: Dead Sea - Cairo

You have most of today at your leisure to enjoy swimming in the Dead Sea, giving your skin the best detox it will ever have had thanks to the curative qualities of the water, the salt-rich waters will have you bobbing about just like a cork. Mid afternoon transfer to Amman Airport for your flights to Cairo. Our representative will greet you upon arrival and assist with the transfer to your hotel. Overnight - Holiday Inn Resort

Day 5: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous Pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. This afternoon enjoy a guided excursion to the citadel, and then on to see the dazzling antiquities of ancient Egypt at the Egyptian Museum. Overnight - Pyramids Park Resort

Day 6: Cairo

This morning you will drive to Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast for a full days sightseeing. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants. Enjoy visits to the Catacomb, Pomp Pillar and Qait Bay Citadel with local English speaking guide. Late this afternoon we return to Cairo. Overnight - Pyramids Park Resort

Day 7: Cairo - Aswan

After breakfast, we head back to the airport for your short flight to Aswan. After a short rest we will take you sightseeing to the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae. Afterwards enjoy a relaxing trip on the Nile upon a traditional sailing boat called a Felucca. We visit the nearby islands of Elephantine and Kitchener, home to the Botanical Gardens. Day 8: Aswan

An early rise this morning to fly to Abu Simbel for a sightseeing trip to remember! You will be guided around the 2 temples of King Ramses II then are free to explore what should have been one of the seven wonders of the world. Afterwards you will fly back to Aswan and have the rest of the day at your leisure to relax or explore the local markets. Overnight - Pyramisa Isis Corniche

Day 9: Aswan - Luxor

After breakfast, we begin the journey to Luxor, en route visiting Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples with a local English speaking guide. Upon arrival in Luxor, the rest of the day and evening are free to relax. Overnight - Pyramisa Isis Corniche

Valley of the Kings

Day 10: Luxor

This morning the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Day 11: Luxor

Today is a half day tour of the Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. When dusk draws near enjoy an excursion of the beautiful Luxor Temple illuminated at night time it's ripe with photo opportunities. Overnight - Isis Luxor

Day 12: Luxor - Sharm el Sheikh

Enjoy a well deserved lie in and leisurely breakfast before transferring to the airport in Luxor for your flight to Sharm el Sheikh (this may be via Cairo). You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight - Isis Luxor
