Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara for more sights.

Day 3: Cairo - Luxor

Today you will enjoy a guided excursion to the citadel, Khan el Khalili markets and then on to see the dazzling antiquities of ancient Egypt at the Egypt Museum. This evening after a rest we will transfer you to the train station for an overnight train to Luxor.

Valley of the Kings

Day 4: Luxor

After your arrival transfer and some free time to relax we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. This evening we visit the beautifully illuminated Luxor temple where you can enjoy a guided explanation of the site and some free time to explore.

Day 5: Luxor - Nile Cruising

This morning early enjoy a hot air balloon flight and see the city come alive. Floating over the nile you will land on the west bank your guide will meet you and take you on to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens returning to Luxor you will stop by the colossi of Memnon. We will check you onto your cruise boat.

Day 6: Nile Cruising

As the sun rises it's anchor’s away! Our cruiser will depart Luxor in the early hours of the morning to wait in queue for the opening of the Esna lock. For us, we enjoy a well deserved day of complete R&R. Pull up a deck chair and relax as we sail upstream toward Temple of Horus at Edfu

Day 7: Nile Cruising

A relaxing day as we sail the Nile. Later today, we visit the waterside Temple of Kom Ombo. We will arrive in Aswan later this evening.

Day 8: Nile Cruising

In the morning we visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisque and Philae and in the afternoon, the Botanical Garden by Felucca.

Day 9: Nile Cruising - Taba

Disembarking our cruiser today - Consider our optional early morning air excursion to the Temple of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, alternatively enjoy a leisurely morning. We will then fly you to Sharm el Sheikh and transfer you to Taba.

Day 10: Taba - Petra

Today we will transfer you to the ferry, for the journey to Jordan. We will then continue on to Petra.

Day 11: Petra

Welcome to the Rose City! Access to the city on our guided exploration is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the impressive Treasury. Walking down the gravel tracks, we’ll explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets and more the intrepid can ascend to Ad Deir, the monestery.

Day 12: Petra

Today we will take you to the Dead Sea, with time to floast in the mineral rich waters, before returning to Petra for the night.

Day 13: Petra - Dahab

It is time to return to Egypt - we will drive to Aqaba and take the ferry back and transfer you on to Dahab.

Days 14-18: Dahab

Free day.

Day 19: Dahab

We will transfer you to the airport in Sharm for your departure flight.
