Day 1: Amritsar

Welcome to India! On arrival in Mumbai we will meet you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Amritsar

This morning we take an early visit out to Elephanta caves created between AD 450 and 750, and Mumbai's permier tourist attraction. This afternoon we will enjoy a tour of the city - India's economic hub and one of the most populous countries in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people!!!!! Enjoy free time this evening to do as you wish.

Day 3: Amritsar - Dharamsala

Today is a free day to explore Mumbai at your leisure.

Day 4: Dharamsala

Today is a free day to explore Mumbai at your leisure.

Day 5: Dharamsala - Shimla

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kochi. On arrival into Kochi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. There is an evening visit to see the Kathakali Dance show.


Day 6: Shimla

Today you will have a morning city tour of Kochi. Some highlights include Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D.; The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568. This afternoon will we drive to Alleppey and embark on our houseboat for the night.

Day 7: Shimla

Today we will leave the houseboat and drive to Mararikulam for some relaxation time.

Today is at your leisure.

Day 10: Rishikesh

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Goa. On arrival into Goa you will be transferred to your hotel where you will be staying for the next 6 nights.

Sit back and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.

Day 16: Varanasi

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Delhi.

Day 17: Varanasi - Khajuraho

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Day 18: Khajuraho - Agra

Departing Delhi, you journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here you enjoy a rickshaw ride to the legendary Taj Mahal at sunset. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. Continuing on, you visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls.

Day 19: Agra

This morning we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandonded only 8 years after its construciton due to droughts in the area continiuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City' in the afternoon enjoy some free time to relax.

Day 20: Agra - Ranthambhore NP

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where you will enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon you tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 21: Ranthambhore NP

Today, you drive to the semi-desert Shekhawati region. The small towns in this region became important trading posts, a lasting legacy of which are the beautiful painted havelis (mansions) constructed by wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries, here you will enjoy free time on your own to explore or simply relax poolside.

Day 22: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

Today we will drive directly to Delhi International Airport to connect with your departing flight.
