Greetings and welcome to India! Upon arrival we will greet you at the airport and transfer to our accommodation. If you have spare time today, it is recommended you pay a visit to Delhi's Red Fort. (This is closed on Mondays).
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! We visit the Baby Taj, before a sunset visit to India's most iconic structure, the beautiful Taj Mahal.
Early this morning we pay a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal to see it in a different light! Later we drive back to Delhi to catch our flight bound for Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur we will collect you and transfer to your hotel.
This morning is spent at leisure - which helps to shake off any side effects of excessive New Year's partying last night! Later we drive to Osian and transfer to our Osian Camel Camp. We enjoy an afternoon Camel safari on the Sam Sand dunes before spending the night at the camp.
Today we take the drive to Udaipur. Enroute we are able to visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple (without guide). On arrival in Udaipur we transfer to our luxury hotel, the Taj Lake Palace for some well earned R & R.
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a some time in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in an private boat on Lake Pichola itself.
This morning we transfer to the airport for your flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival we will greet you and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Today we enjoy a sightseeing excursion to the Ellora Caves. These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff. The Ellora complex is a unique artistic creation and a technological exploit.
Today we visit the amazing Ajanta Caves. The first Buddhist cave monuments at Ajanta date from the 2nd and 1st centuries B.C. During the Gupta period (5th and 6th centuries A.D.), many more richly decorated caves were added to the original group. We return to Aurangabad for the flight to Mumbai. On arrival we will greet you and transfer to our hotel.
This morning we transfer to the airport for your flight to Goa. Upon arrival we transfer to our hotel in Goa.
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to your onward destination, and bid you farewell!
