Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India. We will pick you up from the airport and there will be a group transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free.
Day 2: Delhi
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort (closed Mondays), Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Tonight we enjoy a Namaste Dinner!
Day 3: Delhi - Varanasi
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival into Varanasi we transfer you to your hotel for the evening. A city abundant with temples and labyrinthine streets.
Day 4: Varanasi
Today you can enjoy a morning boat ride on the Ganges to viewthe sunrise and the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the ghats (riverside steps). Later we embark n a tour of India's spiritual city.
Day 5: Varanasi - Khajuraho
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho - home of the resplendent Hindu temples which were built during the Chandela dynasty over a 100 year burst of creative genius from 950-1050 AD. Upon arrival into Khajuraho we will have a tour of the temples.
Day 6: Khajuraho - Orchha
Today we will drive to Orchha. Orchha. Situated on the banks of the River Betwa, Orchha is set amongst a wonderful complex of well-preserved 16th century temples and palaces.
Day 7: Orchha - Agra
This morning we will have a half day tour of the temples and palaces before being transferred to Jhansi train station for your train (a/c chair car departing approx. 18:00) to Agra. Upon arrival at approx.20:30 we will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to the new 4* Radisson Hotel or similar for the evening.
Day 8: Agra
This morning we will visit the beautiful Taj Mahal (closed Fridays), the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Later we continue onto visit Agra Fort. Overnight new 4* Radisson Hotel or similar.
Day 9: Agra - Ranthambhore NP
Today is a long drive (approx. 8 hours) to Ranthambhore, enroute we will visit Fateh Pur Sikri and make a short visit to Bharatpur National Park. This evening we will arrive at Ranthambore.
Day 10: Ranthambhore NP
Today you can enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in an exclusive Canter for your group.
Day 11: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur
Today you can enjoy a morning game drive in an exclusive Canter for your group. Later you will be transferred to your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 12: Jaipur
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style on an elephant! Later we enjoy a tour of the City Palace and Jantar Mantar - an old yet cleverly designed space observatory.
Day 13: Jaipur - Delhi
Early this morning you can opt for a hot air balloon ride (payable locally). Later today we will drive approx. 6 hours back to Delhi. Upon arrival the remainder of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 14: Delhi - Kathmandu
Today there will be a group transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu. (flight not included). Upon arrival to Kathmandu, we will pick you up with a group transfer you to the hotel for the evening.
Day 15: Kathmandu
Today you will have a full day city tour including the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Buddhist Swayambhunath Pagoda and the colossal Bodhnath.
Day 16: Kathmandu - Pokhara
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Pokhra. Upon arrival into Pokhra we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for the evening.
Day 17: Pokhara
This morning you can enjoy an excursion to Sarangkot, enjoying the views, observing local people, villages and farms. This afternoon we will have a half day city tour and boat ride.
Day 18: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival into Kathmandu we will transfer you to your hotel for the evening. This evening we come together for our farewell dinner!
