Day 1: Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Days 2-3: Delhi
Chris collection from the airport at 00:05 AM transfer to the hotel check into room with Ward Han. Over the next two days you will have a guide with you to enjoy the city sightseeing at your own pace sights include:- New Delhi/Old Delhi/ Jantar mantar, Red fort, Jama masjid, Salaam baalak trust city walk, Sulab international museum of toilets, Chandi chowk, Kinari bazaar, Humayun tomb and time permitting more places (any more you pay entrance tickets locally)
Day 4: Delhi - Jaipur
Today, we travel by road to Jaipur also known as the Pink City. We enjoy a tour of the City Palace (Hawa Mahal), Galta Temple and Jantar Mantar - an old, yet cleverly designed space observatory. Evening visit to Raj mandir Cinema to see Hindi Movie. (this evening or tomorrow evening enjoy a puppet show at the hotel)
Day 5: Jaipur
This morning, we travel beyond Jaipur to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour and plenty of time to explore. Later we go to Dera Amer on the outside of the city for an Elephant Safari in the country visiting villages and seeing wildlife dinner at Dera Amer return to your hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur - Agra
Today we travel to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri - the magnificent fortified Mughal capital of Emperor Akbar. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort and evening guided visit to the legendary Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz, the Taj Mahal is without peer.
Day 8: Orchha - Varanasi
Enjoy a day with our guide in Orchha. Situated on the banks of the River Betwa, Orchha is dotted with temples and palaces built by Bundela rulers, which we’ll explore in depth - Tonight you travel by sleeper train to Varanasi. (Train=11107 - Bundhelkhand express - 2230 / 1050+1)
Day 9: Varanasi
Arriving early into Varanasi we collect you and transfer to your hotel - time to rest - This This afternoon we visit Sarnath which is where Buddha made his first Sermons preaching the middle way to Nirvana.evening your guide will take you for a guided walk along the river front to see the evening ritual worship of the holy river Ganga.
Day 10: Varanasi
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing. After breakfast at the hotel enjoy leisurely city tour to take in the key places of importance. Later afternoon free time.
Day 11: Varanasi - Kathmandu
Today 3 of you fly direct to Katmandhu. Arrival transfer to your hotel (Flight = AI 251 - 1230 pm / 01:40 PM) Afternoon at leisure to explore the city. (Ward Han - Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi - Arrival transfer to your hotel (The Grand)
Day 12: Kathmandu
(Ward Han -- Transfer to Delhi airport for flight home) This morning enjoy your included scenic flight toward and up close the Mt Everest. Afternoon tour of the city taking in Pashupatinath Temple which stands on the banks of the River Bhaginiti, Swayambhunath Pagoda and colossal Bodhnath. We’ll explore Durbar square in the heart of Kathmandu, which is home to more than 50 stunning temples and shrines.
Day 15: Pokhara
Chris Koh - Transfer to Pokhara airport for flight to KTM - Arrival transit for your flight home. An early start as we drive to Sarangkot enjoying the views of the landscapes and mountains and observing local people, villages and farms. After breakfast we visit the thundering waterfall known as Devi’s falls. We then visit a Tibetan refugee camp, and a local school and monastery, and have the chance to pick up some souvenirs from small stalls and a carpet-weaving hall, before returning to our hotel - Late afternoon free
Day 16: Pokhara - Delhi
2 people remain - Morning transfer to Pokhara Airport for the flight to Katmandhu arrival and connect to the 16:40 pm flight to Delhi - Arrival in Delhi at 18:40 pm and included transfer to your hotel (The Grand Hotel New Delhi)
Day 17: Delhi
Hotel check-out and included onward transfer to the airport. We hope you enjoyed your holiday!
