Day 1: New Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Day 2: New Delhi

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. The Red Fort will only be seen from the outside as it is closed on Mondays. Overnight - Hilton Janakpuri

Day 3: New Delhi

Day at leisure, no car and driver. Overnight - Hilton Janakpuri

Day 4: New Delhi - Agra

An early morning start we will drive to Agra - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we will have a sightseeing tour to Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. Overnight - Hilton Janakpuri

Day 5: Agra - Ranthambhore NP

We will drive you to Bharatpur train station, with visits en route at Fatehpur Sikri and Peharsar Village. Lunchis included at Udai Vilas. The train will take you to Sawai Madhopur and we will meet you and transfer you to the lodge. Overnight - Howard Sarovar Portico

Day 6: Ranthambhore NP

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park in a shared canter. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Overnight - The Pugmark

Day 7: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

After our final morning game drive in a shared canter we will depart from this wonderful NP park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. After you will arrive on to Jaipur 'The Pink City' enjoy some free time this evening to relax in this bustling Rajastani city. Overnight - The Pugmark

Day 8: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure. Overnight - Shahpura House

Day 9: Jaipur - Mumbai

We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Mumbai (S2 3052, departing at 08:00 and arriving at 09:25). On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight - Shahpura House

Day 10: Mumbai

Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Marine drive, Mani Bhavan, Dhobi Talao, the Hanging Gardens and Crawford Market. Overnight - Comfort Inn Heritage

Day 11: Mumbai

This morning after breakfast we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. Overnight - Comfort Inn Heritage
