Day 1: Amman - Azraq Wetland Reserve
We will meet you at your Amman hotel in the morning around 9 am. Then onward transfer to Azraq Wetland reserve. Along the way we will make stops to visit the Desert Castles which are scattered throughout the black basalt desert, east of Amman and they stand as a testament to the flourishing beginnings of Islamic-Arab civilization. Arrive Azraq check into your hotel.
Day 2: Azraq Wetland Reserve
Spend the day at Azraq at leisure perusing the amazing local bird's or visiting sites in the area. (Naturalist Guide can be organised at extra cost)
Day 3: Azraq Wetland Reserve - Dana N.R.
Today we transfer you to Dana National Park. Arriving there enjoy a half day walk with a local naturalist guide.
Day 4: Dana N.R.
Spend a day with a local expert naturalist and trail guide hiking around this fantastic Jordan wilderness.
Day 5: Dana N.R. - Petra
Early today we make our way the short distance to Petra. Welcome to the Rose City! Enjoy the day with a local expert guide walking down the gravel tracks to explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates, public buildings and more.
Day 6: Petra - Wadi Rum
This morning we continue on a half day guided tour of Petra entering by a different access point to yesterdays entry via the treasury. After we drive to Wadi Rum where we enjoy a 3 hr 4x4 desert safari to see some of the most stunning scenery possible in the planet. Enjoy dinner at our remote desert camp.
Day 7: Wadi Rum
We bid you farewell with a 4 hr transfer back to Amman city or airport as you require.
