All our Sail Croatia cruises that operate along the famous Adriatic coast are crewed by a local Croatian team comprising a qualified captain and his subordinates, plus a cook. Responsible Tourism
on the go tours believe travel should be a rewarding experience for you, as well as for the local people we encounter and that preserving the natural state and beauty of the areas we pass through is essential. At all our destinations, we aim to ensure that the benefits of tourism reach the right places, by employing local tour leaders, frequenting where possible locally owned hotels, shops & eating establishments.
on the go tours has achieved the status of three RT (Responsible Tourism) Stars. We work very closely with AITO, which has produced Responsible Tourism guidelines based on a number of important objectives for its members.
Climate Care - Possibly the single most environmentally harmful impact of travel is the CO2 emissions from international flights. Climate Care offer the opportunity to offset the CO2 emissions from your international flights. Offsetting means paying someone to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere by the same amount that your activities add. In this way you can ‘neutralise’ or ‘balance’ the CO2 added by your activities. Climate Care offsets your CO2 by funding projects around the world including renewable energy, energy efficiency and forest restoration. We’re proud to be associated with Climate Care.
