Day 1: Lima Welcome to Peru and the start of your holiday. Arrive Lima and make your way to our hotel. Overnight – Lima.
Day 2: Cuzco Early morning flight to Cuzco, remainder of the day is free. Cuzco’s cobbled streets and museums are a fitting Introduction to the achievements of the Inca Empire. Overnight - Cuzco.
Day 3: Sacred Valley Today we explore the Sacred Valley, ancient ruins of Pisac and on market days, the colourful artisan markets. Tonight we stay in the 13th century town and fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight – Ollantaytambo. |

Days 4 - 6: Inca Trail
We make our way to the beginning of the Inca Trail – km82. This tough 42km trek, which reaches an elevation of 4200m is a daunting task, however you will receive the ultimate reward of arriving at Machu Picchu at dawn, before the crowds. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight (3) – Inca Trail.

Day 7: Machu Picchu
Rising before dawn we climb the final steps of the trail to the Sun Gate to view Machu Picchu through the first rays of sun. Guided tour of the site. This afternoon we travel by train back to Cuzco. Overnight - Cuzco.
Day 8: Cuzco
Day free to explore this ancient colonial town. There is something here for everyone – from museums and markets to mountain biking, cafés and nightlife. Overnight – Cuzco.
Day 9 - 10: Amazon Jungle
Fly from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado, then by motorised canoe to our rainforest base. A local guide will accompany us as we explore and experience the amazing Amazon Basin. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight (2) - Jungle Lodge.

Day 11: Lima
Return via Puerto Maldonado and flight to Lima. Tour ends on day 12 and a chance to souvenir shop or further sightsee before departure. Overnight – Lima.

Depart anytime on day 12.
