Day 1: Istanbul

Day 2: Istanbul

After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide a nd set out for a full day guided tour taking in highlights such as St. Sophia Cathedral, the Byzantine Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and the iconic Blue Mosque. Day 3: Istanbul - Ankara

After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk which is the burial place of the national hero who founded the modern Republic of Turkey and following that a visit to the famous Museum here. Day 4: Ankara - Amasya

After breakfast we drive to Amasya. On the way we visit Hattusas that was the capital of the Hittite Kingdom for a long time then see the main capital of Yazılıkaya to see the open air sanctuary. In the afternoon visit to the capital of Hattusas with Lion’s Gate, Tunnel, King’s Gate, Citadel and Grand Temple. Arrive Amasya for your overnight stay. Day 5: Amasya - Cappadocia

Before driving to Cappadocia we will have a city tour in Amasya, situated on the banks of the Yeşil Irmak (Green River) and surrounded by high cliffs. This beautiful city was the capital of Pontic Kings. We will have the chance to see the old Ottoman houses along the river, Tombs of the Pontic Kings, the Palace of the Maidens ( Kızlar Sarayı) and the citadel, all situated in Amasya. Day 6: Cappadocia

Enjoy guided tour of the region which will include key highlights such as the Kaymakli Underground City we then stop by Avcilar and pigeons valley to experience the moon-like topography of Cappadocia continue to Open Air Museum in Goreme to see the best examples of Byzantine art this is followed by a visit to see the famous pottery of Avanos. Day 7: Cappadocia - Pamukkale

Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival in Konya. Day 8: Pamukkale - Kusadasi

After breakfast visit the travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. Then we drive to Aphrodisias to visit one of the largest ancient Theaters in the world, the Odeon, Bishops Palace, Stadium, Temple of Aphrodite and the Museum with the gorgeous reliefs and statues of the sculptors of Aphrodisias. Day 9: Kusadasi

Today you will enjoy a full day tour of Ephesus. This classical city is extremely well preserved. Day 11: Canakkale - Istanbul
