After breakfast you start the tour at the Spice Bazaar and it goes on with Bosphorus Cruise. The magical journey which covers both European and Asian shores will let you see the marvelous monuments and districts like: Maiden Tower (Kiz Kulesi), Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Ortakoy, Fethi Ahmet Pasa Mansion, Ortakoy Mosque, Beylerbeyi Palace, Kuleli Military School, Arnavutkoy, Bebek and more highlights of Istanbul located on both sides of the bosporus. We will also see the Rumeli Fortress (Rumeli Hisari), which was built by Mehmet the Conquerer in 1452, for preparation of his planned siege of Byzantine Constantinople.
This morning you will depart on a full day city tour, starting with a visit to the impressive Topkapi Palace, which served as the palace of the Ottoman Sultans between the 16th and 19th centuries. It has a superb position overlooking the Bosphorus. Then to the magnificent St. Sophia's Basilica built originally by Constantine the Great. You continue your visits with the fascinating and impressive Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets and beautiful blue Iznik tiles. Then visit the Byzantine Hippodrome where chariot races and competitive athletic events took place. Finally we visit the famous vast and bustling Grand Bazaar.
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for your flight to Kayseri. After arriving Kayseri you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. After breakfast you will be having a full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors, Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock‐cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th century) and natural fortress in Uchisar. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts,Turkish tiles ,onyx and potteries.
Morning climb up to Chaser Natural castle, continue to Soganli valley to walk on the moon‐like topography of Cappadocia. Lunch in a local restaurant. We will Continue our discovery walking through the Derbent and Red Valley.
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel for your flight to Izmir (via Istanbul). After arriving Izmir you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Pick‐up from your hotel for a full day tour of Ephesus and Virgin Mary’s House. First, visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then proceed to the Ancient City of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. A definite must while in Turkey. Then visit to the House of Mother Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John. After tour, we will drive to our hotel at Kusadasi.
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Izmir Airport for your flight to Istanbul. After arriving Istanbul you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
