Great Wall

Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel, where you sit back and relax after your long flight.

Forbidden City

Day 2: Beijing

This morning, We explore the heart of Beijing including the vast Tiananmen Square where Chairman Mao’s tomb and various monuments to the people are located. Dominating the city’s heart is the Forbidden City, a centre of power for five centuries and seat of the emperors. We will also explore the hutongs.

Day 3: Beijing

Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Badaling, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Continuing a short distance from Badaling, we visit the tombs of the Ming emperors.

Day 4: Beijing

Today, we visit Silk Alley markets and the beautiful Summer Palace. We will also visit the Temple of heaven.

Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an

Free day. Tonight, you travel to Beijing rail station for your train journey to Xi’an in Shaanxi Province.

Day 6: Xi'an

Arrive Xi’an train station, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. We visit Huaqing Hot Springs, a scenic spot in the shadow of Li Mountain. Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, we visit a workshop where we see the process used to create the terracotta figurines. In battle formation, the Terracotta Warriors are one of China’s most awesome sights.

Day 7: Xi'an

Today, we visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim Quarter. Enjoy the remainder of today in your own time to explore this beautiful city.

Day 8: Xi'an - Chengdu

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. On arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to visit Kuanzhai-Lanes before making it to your hotel to check in.

Day 9: Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou

Take a morning flight (45 minutes) from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. We then visit Huanglong National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, with beautiful mountains, lush woods, colourful flowers, and crystal clear waters.

Day 10: Jiuzhaigou

After breakfast, head to the Jiuzhaigou National Park where you will board environmentally friendly buses to sightsee the Park. Visit the Shuzheng and Zezawa Valleys; Pearl Sands and Shuzheng Waterfall; the Tibetan village of Shuzheng, and numerous picturesque lakes including Panda Lake, Long Lake, Rainbow Lake, Tiger Lake and Rhinoceros Lake. Then summon your energy for a Tibetan folk customs show at night, consisting of singing, dancing and other programs. (The entrance fee is not included in the tour price).

Day 11: Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu

Take a morning flight back to Chengdu. Then we will have a tea in the People’s Park to Explore the local people’s life.

Day 12: Chengdu

After breakfast you will venture to the Panda Centre. Located just 10km (6miles) away from downtown Chengdu, the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Centre has been created and imitates the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 13: Chengdu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight.
