Day 1: Guilin
Welcome to China, and your arrangements begin as you arrive into Guilin train station. Here you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (There is a train from Hanoi to Beijing arrival into Guilin on Wednesday- train not included in quote).
Day 2: Guilin
This morning you pay a visit to The Reed Flute Cave Within the cave there are enchanting stalagmites, stone pillars, stele, stone curtains and stone flowers. Then we continue on to Elephant Trunk Hill Located at the confluence of the Taohua (Peach Blossom) River and the Li River, this Hill is too famous to be missed. Overnight - Osmanthus Hotel
Day 3: Guilin - Yangshuo
This morning your Li River cruise departs from downtown Guilin for a full days excursion.. The 90 Km Li River cruise is the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Bear witness to rural China as peasants reap rice paddies, school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. After passing many world renown sights such as Elephent Trunk Hill, Pagoda Hill and more you arrive in to Yangshuo where you can explore for the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight - Osmanthus Hotel
Day 4: Yangshuo - Kunming
Morning at leisure to explore Yangshuo. We suggest to rent a bike to explore the countryside or take a cooking course. Later this afternoon you transfer back to Guilin to board your overnight train to Kunming. Overnight - Yangshuo Tangrenjie Hotel
Day 5: Kunming
Arrival at Kunming train station this morning, and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Today we take you to visit the Western Hills in the surrounds of the city highlight of which is the Dragon Gate. Overnight - Train - 4 berth soft sleeper cabin
Day 6: Kunming - Lijiang
Today you visit the premier natural attraction of Kunming, Shilin, the Stone Forest, an exposed bed of limestone karst spires weathered and split into amazing clusters that take on the appearance of a petrified forest. Return to Kunming and board your overnight train to Lijiang. Overnight - King World Hotel
Day 7: Lijiang
Arrival at Lijiang train station and you will be met and transferred to your hotel for breakfast. Afterward enjoy a guided visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge, and the First Bend of Yangtze River. Overnight - Train - 4 berth soft sleeper cabin
Day 8: Lijiang
Today enjoy an excursion to the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain; its landscape includes one of the southernmost glaciers in the modern world. Shanzidou, the main peak of the mountain at 18,000 feet above sea level, looks like a gigantic dragon clad in white snow all year round. Access to the mountain is provided by a cable lift to Dragon Spruce Meadow, halfway to the glacier peak. We also visit Ganhaizi Meadow and the White River. Overnight - Sanhe Hotel
Day 9: Lijiang - Chengdu
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight Chengdu. You will be collected upon arrival and venture to the Panda Centre. Located just 10km (6miles) away from downtown Chengdu, the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Centre has been created and imitates the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. Day 10: Chengdu - Yangtze & Three Gorges

Day 11: Yangtze & Three Gorges

Day 12: Yangtze & Three Gorges

Day 14: Shanghai
Once known for its decadent magnetism that attracted fortune-seekers and adventurers, Shanghai looks like a European city in a Chinese setting. Today we enjoy guided sightseeing to Jinmao Tower, The Bund, Yu Garden and the old city. Overnight - Shanghai Paradise Hotel
Day 15: Shanghai
Travelling west, we journey to Suzhou in Jiangsu Province (travel by high speed train). One of China’s most charming cities, it’s fame rests on it’s waterways, and canals that are dotted with traditional bridges, houses and gardens. A cruise on the Grand Canal exposes Suzhou’s beauty. Renown for it’s silk, we also visit teh Humble Administrators Garden, a silk workshop before returning to Shanghai. Overnight - Shanghai Paradise Hotel
Day 16: Shanghai - Luoyang
Day at leisure to explore Shanghai. Later you are transferred to the train station for your overnight train to Zhengzhou. Overnight - Shanghai Paradise Hotel
Day 17: Luoyang
Arrival at Zhengzhou train station you will be collected and you have breakfast in a local restaurant. Afterward you enjoy a guided visit to Shaolin Temple. Contine to Luoyang for the night. Overnight - Train - 4 berth soft sleeper cabin
Day 18: Luoyang - Xi'an
This morning enjoy a guided tour to the Longmen Grottos. More than 100,000 images and statues of Buddha and his disciples were carved into the cliff walls for over a kilometre along the banks of the River Yi, just south of the city, these represent the peak of Buddhist Cave Art. Afternoon high speed train to Xian, arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight - Peony Plaza
Day 19: Xi'an
Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, we visit a workshop where we see the process used to create the terracotta figurines. In battle formation, the Terracotta Warriors are one of China’s most awesome sights. Overnight - Wan Nian Grand Hotel
Day 20: Xi'an - Beijing
Today you enjoy a guided visit to the Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall, and Muslim Quarter. Tonight you take the overnigt train to Beijing. Overnight - Wan Nian Grand Hotel
Day 21: Beijing
Arrival at Beijing train station, we collect you and transfer you to your hotel for breakfast. Here enjoy Guided visits to Tianmen Square, Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Overnight - Train - 4 berth soft sleeper cabin
Day 22: Beijing
Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Badaling, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! We also visit the Summer Palace. Overnight - Rainbow Hotel
Day 23: Beijing
we take rickshaws to explore the Hutongs of Beijing. As our trusty rickshaw driver peddles us through the network of alleys, old back lanes, traditional courtyards and compact houses, it gives us a fascinating snapshot of the city’s traditional way of life.
