This morning, we tour the centre of Beijing including the massive Tienanmen Square and the sprawling Forbidden City. Boasting some 9999 rooms, the city within a city was once the sole preserve of the Chinese emperors. Later this afternoon enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the Hutongs of Beijing to have a glimpse at real life for the Beijing resident.
Today, we drive beyond Beijing to Badaling, to walk a section of the famous Great Wall. Built in the Ming Dynasty, a 6m wide pathway makes a formidable defence, following the highest contours of a steep range of hills. Tonight, we attend a Chinese acrobatic performance.
Strong stomachs today, if you are game to try a few unusual delicacies in the local street market. Later we visit the Silk Alley markets and the Summer Palace, set on Kunming Lake. Later enjoy a drive past the 2008 Olympic stadium commonly referred to as the ‘birdsnest’ and aquatic centre en route to the train station for the sleeper train to Xian.
Arrive Xi’an and hotel check in. Later we tour the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site where some 7,000 warriors stand in battle ready position and a factory demonstrating how the warriors are crafted. Tonight enjoy a Tang Dynasty dated theatrical performance.
Today we enjoy visits to the Bell and Drum towers following this the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and then a bicycle ride (or walk) atop the Xi’an City Wall. After enjoy an early dinner before boarding the overnight express train bound for Shanghai.
Focus your eyes on spectacular Shanghai. Perhaps China’s most modern city, its amazing Pudong skyline is stunning. After arrival transfer we enjoy a tour of the many city sights including Yuyuan Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and The Bund, with a cruise on the Huangpu River.
Today we head out of the city with a short train journey to visit Suzhou which is a sort of oriental Venice because it is interwoven by a series of canals and pretty waterways. We enjoy a cruise on the Grand Canal, tour the Humble Administrator’s Garden and visit a silk workshop and later return by train to Shanghai.
This morning we will transfer you to the airport for your morning flight to Hong Kong. Arrival in Hong Kong and we will transfer you to your hotel. Day at leisure for you to explore.
Day at leisure for you to explore. Tonight make your own way to the airport for your flight to Sanya. Arrival in Sanya and we will transfer you to your beach hotel.

For your remaining days with us enjoy a unique tropical oceanic landscape that is totally different from the other provinces of China. Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay and Dadonghai, all golden seaboards of Sanya, are some of the first choices for visitors to spend their holidays.
