DOES GOBUS CHARGE A LOCAL PAYMENT?
On our Morocco expeditions, we have a communal local payment.
It is this payment which covers expenses incurred by the tour leader en route such as entrance fees, road tolls, camping fees and meals as detailed under inclusions. The local payment is paid on day 1 of your expedition in Euros. Please note that due to exchange rate fluctuations in the Euro currency, as well as potential changes to fees, the local payment amount may be subject to change. We will however inform you of any such changes as soon as we are aware of them.

|
HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BUDGET FOR?
Accommodation - this is included in the cost of your GOBUS tour.
Food - all of your meals and entrance fees are included on your Morocco GOBUS tour so you only need to budget for drinks and personal items. We recommend a daily budget of approximately £10 - £15 per day but of course this depends on whether you like to splash your cash or hold tight to the purse strings! On several of our tours there are optional activities available to book and pay for locally, please see the itinerary for details and budget accordingly.

WHAT SHALL I BRING?
Most international airlines limit you to 20kgs - you will need to pack your luggage in a rucksack and remember to bring a separate daypack to carry your everyday essentials. Pack sensibly and consider garments that are comfortable and cool. Morocco gets very hot, especially in the desert and in the peak of summer from June - August. After the sun sets, in the Atlas Mountains and in the winter months, the temperatures can plummet so pack accordingly. A sleeping bag is essential for participation on all of our tours. Carry/roll-up mat is great for extra comfort if you on our Camels Souks and Kasbahs camping expedition when you will be camping for several nights. Toilet paper and antiseptic wipes
Pack a flat pack of toilet paper and antiseptic wipes - always handy! Mini First Aid Kit Mosquito spray Pack some mosquito spray (with active DEET ingredient). Bring a torch for your night in the desert.
