Day 1: Marrakech
Welcome to Morocco! A country steeped in history and culture. Arrival transfer from Marrakech airport to our hotel. Our hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the old medina offering you the opportunity to explore the rambling souk, local sights and Djemaa el Fna (the main square).
Day 2: Marrakech
This morning enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, taking in all of the highlights of the Medina (old city centre), the Koutoubia Mosque, palaces, souks and the old mellah (Jewish quartier). The afternoon is free for you to enjoy at leisure - perhaps visit the peaceful Jardins de Majorelle to relax. Overnight - Aquarelle Riad
Day 3: Marrakech - Ourigane
Today we travel to the centre of the High Atlas mountains in the Toubkal National Park. Enjoy exploring the lake and the Ksar gardens. Overnight is spent in Ourigane. Overnight - Aquarelle Riad
Day 4: Ourigane
After breakfast, head off into the national park with a guide and a mule! You'll have the chance to ride a mule and visit local Berber villages. Take tea in a Berber house before returning to your hotel via the salt pans of Ourigane. Overnight - Le Sel D'ailleurs
Day 5: Ourigane - Essaouira
After a leisurely breakfast, we journey down past Asni and the base camp villages of Jbel Toubkal towards Marrakech before continuing on to the coastal town of Essaouria. Overnight - Le Sel D'ailleurs
Day 6: Essaouira
Enjoy a lazy day at leisure in Essaouira. Perhaps take a camel ride along the beach, try a bit of wind surfing or simply sunbathe! Tonight why not try one of the many tasty restaurants in the medina. Overnight - Hotel Miramar
Day 8: Essaouira
After breakfast, we transfer you back to the airport in Marrakech for your onward departure flight. Overnight - Hotel Miramar
