Day 1: Istanbul

Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2: Istanbul

After breakfast in your hotel, there is a full day guided tour today. The Ottoman Empire produced marvellous architecture and you'll see Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet I. We also visit the Byzantine Hippodrome. before venturing into the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar.

Day 3: Istanbul - Canakkale

Early this morning we depart for Gallipoli. On arrival we visit The World War I open air museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s jolly (Turkish and Allied Trenches and tunnels), The Nek and Chunuk Bair. After your guided tour of the region we cross the Dardanelles by ferry and arrive in Canakkale where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Canakkale - Bursa

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we continue on to legendary Troy, a 5000 year old archeological city. See a reconstruction of the fabled wooden horse, used in the Trojan War before continuing on to Bursa.

Day 5: Bursa

Bursa - the first capital of teh Ottoman Empire in the 14th centre and now a major spa centre. We visit the Ottoman complex to see the Grand Mosque and Green Mosque - considered to be one the finest examples of early Ottoman architecture. Later, we visit the covered Bazaar offering local goods and produce before transferring back to your hotel.

Day 6: Bursa - Ankara

Today we leave Bursa and continue on to Ankara where the remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 7: Ankara - Cappadocia

This morning we visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then head east towards Cappadocia. Perhaps the jewel in Turkey’s crown, Cappadocia consists of whole troglodyte villages, subterranean churches and fortresses, all hewn from the soft, porous, eerily eroded rock of the area. The rock is believed to have been formed from volcanic eruptions millions of years ago and rocks formed in lakes and streams in the area.

Day 8: Cappadocia

After breakfast you will have a full day excursion in Cappadocia including the Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors, the Open Air Museum in Goreme to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings and a natural fortress in Uchisar.

Day 9: Cappadocia - Konya

We depart for Konya today and visit the 13th century Sultanhan Caravanserai en route. On arrival we visit the Green Dome, the original lodge of the mystical Mevlevi Whirling Dervishes.

Day 10: Konya - Pamukkale

Today you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Pamukkale. Known locally as the Cotton Castles, Pamukkale is a natural phenomena and gift of Mother Nature. Pamukkale was formed when warm, calcium rich mineral water cascaded over the cliff edge, cooling and depositing in the process. The calcium built natural shelves and pools on the cliffs, known as travertines.

Day 11: Pamukkale - Kusadasi

After breakfast, visit the ancient Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath, graveyard and the lime cascade. Thereafter, we continue our drive to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Later, we continue to Kusadasi.

Day 12: Kusadasi

This morning we drive to the Ancient city of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. A definite must while in Turkey. Then we visit the House of Mother Mary where she was supposed to spend her last years together with St. John. In the afternoon, experience an upbeat fashion show, with unique leather products manufactured ın Turkey.

We bid you farewell today and will transfer you to the airport or port for your onward journey.
