Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria in Egypt boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants, as well as catacombs, souks and relics from a bygone age. Whilst in Alexandria, take a guided tour of the Roman catacombs - the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, which were discovered accidentally in 1900 when a donkey disappeared through the ground. Also visit Pompeii’s Pillar and drive past the impressive Library of Alexandria, to the gates of the great Montazzah Palace, home to King Farouk.

Note: Day Trip to Alex departs at approximately 7am from Cairo and will arrive back into Cairo between 5pm to 7pm - subject to traffic. If flying on the same day, please ensure that your onward flight departs no earlier than 10pm.
