Mokoro Magic - 10 days

Encounter game galore, falls, waterways, lagoons, islands and rivers, local cultures, magnificent sunsets and of course, mokoros - all in 10 memorable days!

Day 1: Livingstone
Friday. Welcome to Livingstone. We will collect you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. There is a predeparture meeting at 5pm today, where you will meet your expedition leader and the rest of the group. Overnight - Livingstone
Day 2: Exploring Vic Falls
Today we spend at Victoria Falls , one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and it’s not difficult to see why. At 1700 m wide and around 100 m high, this is the world’s largest sheet of falling water. You can spend today participating in a myriad of optional excursions. Tonight we enjoy a sunset dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi. Overnight - Livingstone (D)

The mighty Victoria Falls - one of Seven Natural Wonders of the World
Today we have another opportunity to participate in some of the activities we couldn’t fit in yesterday. Overnight - Livingstone (B, D)
Livingstone - Chobe NP. After breakfast we cross the border into Botswana and head to Kasane where we set up camp on the banks of the Chobe River. The Chobe River forms a border between Botswana and Namibia and Zambia. Listen out for the resident hippos! Overnight - Kasane (B, L, D)
This morning starts with an early morning game drive into Chobe National Park. Chobe is one of Botswana’s premier game parks, renowned its large elephant herds. The late afternoon sees us take a boat cruise along the Chobe River. Elephant, hippo and many bird species can be viewed from the boat while we watch another glorious African sunset. Day 6: Okavango Delta
Chobe National Park - Okavango Delta - Ngepi Camp. Today we travel into Namibia’s Caprivi Strip to our lovely camp site on Kavango River at the start of the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is a huge expanse of water that has travelled from the Kavango River from the Angolan highlands, and fans out onto the upper Kalahari region to form the largest inland Delta in the World. Overnight - Ngepi (B, L, D)
Day 7: Mokoro sailing
Today we take a mokoro (traditional dug out canoe) trip down the river. After lunch, we head to the Bwabwata National Park, where we hope to encounter elephant, buffalo, lion and the rare wild dog. We also have the opportunity to learn about the local Tswana culture. Overnight - Ngepi (B, L, D)

Day 8: Free time at Ngepi Camp
Today we spend enjoying some of the activities on offer from the camp. Try your hand at the camp’s own ‘Frisbee Golf Course’ or simply spend the day relaxing on the river bank. Overnight - Ngepi Camp (B, L, D)
Day 9: Livingstone
Today we retrace our steps, crossing the Caprivi Strip and travelling through to Livingstone. We spend our last evening enjoying the setting sun over the Zambezi. Overnight - Livingstone (B, L, D)
Day 10: Livingstone
Sunday. Livingstone. Our adventure ends after breakfast. (B)
