local payment

On our expeditions, we have a communal local payment. It is this payment which covers the park entrance fees, camping fees and meals as detailed under ‘Expedition Info or Holiday Info’ throughout the website. The local payment is part of the overall cost of the trip but is paid directly to the tour leader at the start of the trip, on Day 1 and must be in US dollars cash.

Please note that due to exchange rate fluctuations in the US dollar, as well as potential changes to park entrance fees, the local payment amount may be subject to change. We will however inform you of any such changes as soon as we are aware of them. For your convenience, the local payment also covers your airport arrival transfer, as well as your first night’s accommodation in Africa. If however, you would not like this additional service, please let us know at time of booking.
