Our drive was excellent and knowledgeable. You see all of big five and even ugly five. It was well worth the trip for both time an money. Bring binocular and long-lens camera.

This tour was amazing. It was just me and the guide. He took the time to go thorugh some of the more remote parts of the park. I saw a herd of elephants who came up next to the truck and crossed in front of us as well as many other animals. The guide also was able to predict which way a white rhinoceros would go and got our truck into his path. He came right up to the truck and passed in front of us. It was amazing. I also saw wildebeests, baboons, impalas, giraffes, antelope, and many other animals up close. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was outstanding from beginning to end! My guide, Paddy, knew the park inside out, and even knew many of the animal's names. A great tour! And even greater guide! Worth every penny. And will come back again to see more of this park. I hope Paddy is available!

Was a bit sceptical before ordering this, but i am so happy i did! The experience was amazing and the company top professional. This is really valuable trip, if you are considering it, do it! We had 6 hours to see the animals, and we saw most of the big 5 as well as lots of other fantastic things while we were there. And the guide was so passionate about the animals and everything.

Excellent tour guide I wish I wasn't so terrible at remembering names who made the long drive to Pilanesburg from Sandton very easy. Supremely knowledgeable about the area leading up to the park and of the animals on the safari. Highly recommended. You're in Africa for crying out loud, you can't leave without doing this!

I wrote a lovely review but it deleted when I had to resign in oy! Well to summarize: Maggie our tour guide went above and beyond. She made the experience that much more special when she made every attempt to ensure we were safe, comfortable and saw all that we hoped. Maggie was relentless in trying to find those elusive few animals hiding that day but with her efforts we were able to see elephants up close and personal. The baby rhino, a hippo out of water, roaring pride of lions etc this was everything your dreams are made of. This experience was one for the bucket list, I cannot articulate how awe-inspiring and humbling the entire excursion was! a few bumps like forgetting to call but a few hours before to confirm and not being able to get into our location to pick us up did not phase the day no one's fault in particular, it was everything someone could hope for! This experience was excellent and we were blessed for such a great tour guide!

I was picked up at my hotel in Sandton and given a private drive to the park. Willie was more than happy to answer all of my questions, and I had a LOT! I had booked a tour where I joined a group in an open topped vehicle. The open vehicle was perfect, but I had so many questions that I wish I had splashed out and booked a private tour. I don't know if they would even do a tour with one person, but it would have been Ama-Zing to do a private one. Had a meal on the way back and got back to my hotel safe and sound after having seen more animals than I can name here! Thanks Willie and Ama-Zing Safaris!

The trip was great although it seemed a little rushed. I would have liked to spend longer.

This unique tour on a crater inside an extinct volcano needs to start much earlier than the 6:30 am Johannesburg hotel pick-up. Our arrival time for the Safari was 9:30 am 9/12/2017 when we passed through the entrance gate which opens at 5:30 am. The high temp that day was 37C / 99F and only a few animals were active. The watering hole landscapes were quite scenic and multiple species of animals were grazing together or just cooling off. Schedule this tour on a weekday since the Restaurant at the watering hole gets quite busy. We were very close to the animals and birds that wondered in and out during our lunch time. A visitor showed us his photos of lion, cheetah and leopard that he took early morning on a different trail than what our tour allowed. We did see white rhinos in the far distance, giraffes, water buffalo, elephants, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, warthogs, a crocodile, and impala. Very few animals seen during the hot, early afternoon safari when we were away from the watering holes.
