Bright and early this morning we board the Shatabdi Express bound for Kalka. Here, travellers will transfer (independently) to the narrow gauge Himalayan Queen Toy Train travelling to Shimla. To the commotion of the steam train's arrival to Shimla, we meet our representative on the station platform and transfer to our hotel for an evening at leisure.

We recommend pack an evening picnic meal before your transfer to Kalka and boarding the Kalka Shatabdi Express at sunset and arriving into Delhi late this evening.
Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, which boasts some of India's finest Mughal buildings behind it's fortified walls.
This morning we take a motorised buggy to the legendary Taj Mahal and witness a magical sunrise. Built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century as an enduring memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. As we get closer to Jaipur we stop for a tasty lunch and visit Hotel Udai Vilas Palace, a charming haveli (mansion house) with small courtyard, lawned gardens and rustic appeal. Arriving into Jaipur enjoy time at your leisure.
This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon perhaps opt for a journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal Mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and thereafter a guided tour of the city palace complex and it’s fascinating nooks and crannies. This morning we drive you back to Delhi airport in time for your flight to Varanasi. (SG 114 - 1340/1505 in Economy) Arriving here our local driver will take you to your hotel. This evening our local guide will take you for a walk along the river to see the evening ceremonial worship of the sacred River Ganges.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps).
This morning we drive you back to Varanasi airport in time for your flight to Delhi. (SG 119 -1535/1655 - Economy) Arriving here our local driver will take you to your hotel.
