Day 1: Santiago

Welcome to Santiago! Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Santiago

Today you shall go on a half day city tour of Santiago. As the cultural and economic heart of the country, Santiago is the best place to get under the skin of Chile's national identity with a thriving arts scene, superb museums, vibrant theatre and music, and first-rate cuisine. Centred around the busy Plaza de Armas, Santiago's main attractions can easily be visited by foot in a few days. The central square is lined with grand architecture from the Correo Central with its impressive facade and stunning glass roof, to the historically important Palacio de la Real Audiencia, a beautifully preserved colonial building with a museum housing fascinating old relics.

Day 3: Santiago

Today you shall go on a full day excursion of the Valparaiso and Vina del Mar.The city of Valparaiso is spread over a crescent of hills hugging a wide bay and is known for its array of houses. Enjoy time exploring the labyrinthine streets and soaking up the panoramic view. North of the city is Chile's best known beach resort, Vina del Mar, with sheltered sandy bays and interesting corners of town where elegant villas and graceful gardens stand.

Day 4: Santiago - Lima

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima you will be transferred to the hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Lima

For centuries Lima was considered the most beautiful city in Spanish America and today discover why with a morning sightseeing tour. Around the Plaza Mayor in the heart of the old town you’ll find the opulent facade of the Palacio de Gobierno, or Presidential Palace, where each day the ceremonial changing of the guard takes place. Nearby is the austere Catedral and various small palaces and balconied edifices that helped Lima claim UNESCO World Heritage status. Discover contemporary Lima in the form of the plush suburb of San Isidro and lively Miraflores before continuing to the quiet district of Pueblo Libre to see the stylish hacienda museum, which exhibits hundreds of excellently preserved ceramics.

Day 6: Lima

Today you have the day at leisure.

Days 7-9: Lima - Iquitos and the Amazon

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your Iquitos. Meet and greet at Iquitos Airport by our Jungle Experience staff. Following a 1.5-hours bus transfer to our private Nauta’s pier, where we will get on board an Amazon Cruise for 4 days and 3 nights.

Day 10: Iquitos and the Amazon - Lima

Today marks the end of your Amazon cruise. You will be transferred to the airport where you will board a flight to Lima. Tonight you will spend at an airport hotel in Lima.

Day 11: Lima - Cuzco

Upon arriving in Cuzco you will be transferred to your hotel. Later today you will go on a half day city tour.

Day 12: Cuzco

Today you have the day at leisure.

Day 13: Cuzco - Sacred Valley

Today you shall go on a full day tour that includes the Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo.

Day 14: Sacred Valley

Today you go on a full day tour of Machu Picchu via the Vistadome train.

Day 15: Sacred Valley

Today you have the day at leisure.

Day 16: Sacred Valley - Cuzco

Today you have the morning at leisure. Later this afternoon you will return by Visatadome train to Cuzco.

Day 17: Cuzco - Puno

Today you will be transferred to the bus station where you will board a bus to Puno. Upon arriving in Puno you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 18: Puno

This morning we travel by boat to Taquile Island, to observe a unique and fascinating culture. After lunch, we head for Amantani Island and the opportunity to experience a rural way of life in homestay accommodation. Returning to Puno, we stop at the ‘floating Islands’ of Uros where the native Totora reed is used for building homes, boats and handicrafts.

Day 19: Puno - La Paz

Travel to Copacabana Sanctuary where you will board a Catamaran Cruise Ship, and sail to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain followed by the Inti Wata Cultural Complex including the Ekako Underground Museum, the traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders display centers, the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, and at the Manco Kapac look out the largest variety of Andean camelids. Also, enjoy a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka traditional vessel for a panoramic visit to the Pilkokaina Inca Palace. Catamaran Cruise Ship to Chua harbor. After you will be transferred to La Paz.

Day 20: La Paz

Today you shall go on a half day city tour together with an excursion to the Moon Valley.

Days 21-33: La Paz

Today you will be transferred to the airport.

Days 34-39: Buenos Aires

Upon arriving in Mar del Plata you will be transferred to your hotelw here you have the next few days at leisure.

Day 40: Buenos Aires

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight. Upon arriving at the Aeroparque airport you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 41: Buenos Aires

Today you go on a city tour. The cosmopolitan capital of Buenos Aires is one of South America’s most seductive cities. Almost European in design with tree-lined streets, lively plazas and innumerable parks and gardens where colourful parrots roost, the city claims an unbelievable array of restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs with its interest in the arts evident in the myriad theatres, cinemas and galleries. Amongst the glamorous neighbourhoods you’ll find traditional Buenos Aires in the old-world watering holes and fine colonial architecture. With several barrios distinct in character, it’s a city that lends itself beautifully to aimless wandering.

Day 42: Buenos Aires

This evening you will attend a Dinner Tango show (transfers included on a shuttle bus).

Day 43: Buenos Aires

Today you have the day at leisure.

Day 44: Buenos Aires

This morning you will be transferred to the Port where you will board a ferry to Colonia. Upon arriving in Colonia you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 45:

Today you will be transferred by a shuttle service from Colonia to Montevideo. Upon arriving in Montevideo you will be transferred to the hotel by a shuttle.

Day 46:

Today you have a half day city tour on a shuttle service.

Day 47:

Today you will be transferred to the bus station where you will board a bus to Punta del Esta. Upon arriving in Punta del Este you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 48:

Today you have the day at leisure.

Day 49:

Today you will be transferred to the port where you will board a ferry to Buneos Aires. Upon arriving in Buneos Aires you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Santiago. Once in Santiago you will be transferred to the hotel.
