Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for immediate check in at 02:45 am. Afternoon Ambling through the historic old city you’ll see a few sites most notably the famous Red Fort. Other highlights include the Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid and a rickshaw ride to lively Chore Bazaar.

Day 2: Delhi - Varanasi

Morning flight to Varanasi (09:30) We then transfer you to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Arrival transfer ar10:45 to your hotel. This evening you travel by a convoy of fun cycle rickshaws to see the evening ceremony in worship of the Holy River Ganges.

Day 3: Varanasi

This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats. In the afternoon we enjoy a guided tour of the city including Bharat Mata Temple, Ram Nagar Fort and Museum and more time permitting then off to see the famous Buddhist site of Sarnath where Buddha made his first sermon.

Day 4: Varanasi - Khajuraho

Morning flight to Khajuraho IT 231 - Dep 1130 Arr 1210 transfer to hotel. In the afternoon we head out and visit the Western and Eastern Group of Temples this evening enjoy a Cultural Dance Show.

Day 5: Khajuraho - Agra

Today we depart early and drive to Jhansi along the way we will stop to visit Orcha and it's various temples and enjoy lunch. We then continue to Jhansi station for the express train to Agra. Arriving into Agra we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 6: Agra

After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Sikandra Fort which houses the Tomb of Akbar and then Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. Evening at leisure.

Day 7: Agra - Jaipur

En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. We enjoy lunch at Chandra Mahal Haveli in Peharsar or similar. In Jaipur arriving and check into your hotel. This evening enjoy a visit to the Laxmi Narayan Temple.

Day 8: Jaipur

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 9: Jaipur - Deogarh

After breakfast we leave Jaipur for Deogarh, which is a traditional village surrounded by beautiful countryside, lakes and hills. Arrive at Deogarh and check-in and then free time to wander around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Day 10: Deogarh - Udaipur

This morning we drive to visit Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. Later today arrive Udaipur and we enjoy a visit to the Monsoon Palace to witness sunset and experience the magic atmosphere at twilight.

Day 11: Udaipur

Morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and a camel ride round the city. This evening we enjoy a ride on Lake Pichola on a boat private to your group.

Day 12: Udaipur - Mumbai

Enjoy a free morning to see Udaipur at your own pace. Taking to the sky we fly to Mumbai! On arrival transfer to your hotel. This evening you can go out for a wander on your own. Dinner is at the hotel.

Day 13: Mumbai

This morning early after breakfast we take the first cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. After lunch we visit city highights such as the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India and Marine drive. This evening you can go out for a wander on your own. Dinner is at the hotel.

Day 14: Mumbai

This morning free to go shopping. Afternoon check out and we enjoy a visit to the Bollywood film studios. Later transfer to the airport enjoy dinner in a nearby restaurant and onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
