Johannesburg city

Day 1: Johannesburg

Welcome to Johannesburg, enjoy an airport transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at lesisure.

Day 2: Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.

This morning, we transfer you to Kruger National Park (flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit and onward drive to Kruger - SA1227, departing at 12:15 and arriving at 13:15). It’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Overnight - Tanda Tula Safari Camp.

Day 3: Kruger N.P.

Early this morning and later this afternoon you head off in open vehicles into the park in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready! If you would like to get up close and personal with the animals you might want to arrange an optional guided walk with armed rangers. Overnight - Tanda Tula Safari Camp.

Day 4: Kruger N.P. - Cape Town

This morning you will be taken to the Johannesburg Airport to fly to Cape Town (flight SA1226 and flight SA347 - 12:00/13:00 and 15:10/17:20). Here you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Cablecar to Table Mountain

Day 5: Cape Town

We commence with a cable car trip up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the Mother City and the surrounding peninsula. (weather permitting; cable car fee not included), Back in the city itself, we visit the well preserved Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, Greenmarket Square. We also take a trip through the colourful and picturesque Malay Quarter known as Bo-Kaap.

Days 6-8: Cape Town

The next 3 days are free to head to one of the many beautiful beaches around Cape Town.

Day 9: Cape Town

Your African adventure comes to an end today when we transfer you to the hotel in time for your departure flight.
